Glenn Pearson is a small business owner, former broadcast journalist, and long-time Manatee County resident who is running for Congress to take on a system that’s stopped working for everyday people. For over 30 years, Glenn worked as a television news producer, reporter and anchor, where he led investigations that exposed criminal organizations, protected children, and held the powerful accountable. He believes journalism is about telling hard truths—and he’s never been afraid to speak out when the stakes are high.

Today, Glenn leads a financial services company that helps working people plan for retirement and get the healthcare they need without going broke. That experience has made it clear: the system is rigged in favor of the wealthy and well-connected, while working families are left behind. He’s watched too many people do everything right—work hard, save what they can—only to fall further behind because politicians put special interests first.

Now, Glenn is stepping up to change that. He’s running for Congress because he’s fed up with the lies, the distractions, and the corruption that keep real problems from being solved. Working families are struggling to make ends meet, while billionaires and big corporations continue to buy influence and drain public resources for private gain. Glenn knows it doesn’t have to be this way.

As OUR Congressman, Glenn Pearson will fight to unrig the political system by passing meaningful campaign finance reform and ending the grip of dark money on our democracy. He will protect and strengthen Social Security and Medicare, ensuring that every senior can retire with dignity. He’ll work to expand access to affordable healthcare so no one has to choose between medical care and paying their bills. 

And he will push Congress to focus on what really matters: raising wages, lowering costs, and building an economy that works for everyone—not just those at the top.
